Technician Review & Suggested Repairs:
Exterior, accident & service history:
• Car has 2 minor accident records as per the RTA database.
• Both accidents appear to have affected the rear only. The rear bumper and lower rear boot panel have been repainted.
• All other body panels show original factory paint thickness.
• Multiple dents and scratches are present around the body, consistent with the vehicle's age and normal usage.
Service history:
• Service history to be confirmed with the agency.
Interior:
• Interior is in acceptable condition considering the age of the vehicle.
• Certain trims missing or broken inside.
• Normal wear and tear observed throughout the cabin.
Mechanical:
• Front suspension produces abnormal noise. Front suspension mountings require replacement.
• Front control arm bushes are worn and require replacement.
• Minor grease/oil leak observed from the front left driveshaft (CV axle). Further inspection and repair are recommended.
• Engine has a rough idle. It is recommended to clean the throttle body and inspect/replace the spark plugs and ignition coils as required.
• Minor oil sweating observed between the transmission and transfer case. Suspecting an oil seal leak. Clean the area and recheck after driving to confirm the exact source.
• Minor wear on the engine and gearbox mounting - no need immediate replacement.
• Two tyres have side wall buldge/crack need replacement.
• Car have more wear and tear than the km show in odometer.
Electrical & OBD scan check:
• Left side mirror auto-fold function is not working.
• Central locking system is not functioning properly.
• Rear doors occasionally do not open from the outside due to an intermittent central locking fault.
• Rear number plate lights operate intermittently and require electrical diagnosis.
• Multiple fault codes were initially stored in various control modules. All codes were cleared and the vehicle was test driven.
• After the test drive, only the following faults remained:
• License plate lamp electrical circuit fault (Passive/Sporadic).
• Left rear door lock actuator – implausible signal (Active/Static).
• Rear view camera communication fault – Data bus message missing (Passive/Sporadic).
• A significant discrepancy was observed between the odometer reading and the vehicle usage data stored in other control modules, indicating a strong possibility of mileage/odometer tampering. The displayed odometer reading should be treated with caution, and the actual vehicle mileage cannot be verified.
• Battery is low and need replacement.
Test drive:
• Vehicle drives well overall.
• Front suspension noise is present while driving and requires repair.
• Engine, transmission, braking system, and overall drivability are otherwise satisfactory during the test drive.
